O Negaishimasu

(O Negaishimasu means “please help” in Japanese.)
The Northern California Ki Society maintains and supports many worthy projects. From our work with incarcerated men, women and youths and students in economically depressed communities, to providing useful information to the homeless, we are kept busy.
There are many ways you can support this important work. You can become a member (use drop downs for various levels of support) , make a donation in any amount you're comfortable with, or even donate goods. Please note, no one will be turned away from training due to lack of funds.

For Members and Supporters

  • Pay the maximum monthly membership fees you can afford on time and consistently.
  • Arrive early to class, help clean, set up, and practice before class to help all students grow and develop.
  • Produce and distribute our posters to all applicable venues.
  • Electronically post (and maintain) our information and give recommendations on sites such as Yelp.
  • Seek opportunities to expand our programs.
  • As a 501c3 non-profit Corporation, we can accept donations of cash or goods (cars, electronics, etc.), which can be used as tax deductions in most cases. Many companies will match employee donations or even give outright to non-profits that you support.
  • You may also have friends willing to donate to a cause you support.

Donation of Goods

The Ki Research Institute, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, gratefully accepts donations of goods and provides tax-deductible receipts where applicable. We kindly ask that donations consist of items that are in good working condition and easy to sell. Antiques are also welcome and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

VEHICLES

For our limitations, these must be currently registered or easily registered and must be in working condition unless classic. In many instances, you may deduct the full bluebook value.

ELECTRONICS AND TOOLS

All electronics must be in working condition;  (no tube TVs) computers, and cell phones must be modern and saleable.

MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS

We have local support from Subway Guitars (Phatdawg), who will market any donated musical instruments and have the facilities to repair them.
