    Peaceful Resolutions to Conflict
Programs for the City of Richmond

The Peaceful Resolutions to Conflict program is a unique partnership between the City of Richmond Departments that include, Recreation, LEAP, Library and Community Services. Children integrate literacy with their martial arts, and the family members are invited to join their children on the mat, or attend nearby classes, where they find help with English and/or GED preparation.

Under the direction of Maida Sensei, 7th Dan, children, youth and adults receive training in Aikido and Ki development. Through long term training, students gain greater stability and focus to be better equipped to handle stressful situations.
